Solution Architect (Deployment: East Coast)
Description
Join the Tasktop Team as a Solution Architect and become an essential member of our team in helping enterprises transform how they deliver software by integrating their Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) information systems using Tasktop Sync. In the role of Solution Architect (deployments) you will work directly with customers to define requirements related to their ALM repositories and information systems and design an ALM integration solution using Tasktop Sync. Using your project management skills, organizational skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail you will develop a strong relationship with technical counterparts within the customer organization. You will setup virtual infrastructure and software mirroring the enterprise environment to build and test out the solution and perform troubleshooting prior to deployment. In some of the more complex enterprise integration deployments, you will need to do some Groovy scripting to model an organization's more unique development workflows. This position offers exposure to a broad range of ALM software including IBM RTC, HP QC, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft TFS, Rally, and others.

- A driven self-starter with an ability to work independently
- A working knowledge of software development methodologies (SDLC / WATERFALL / AGILE)
- Experience with workflow across the entire software value chain (requirements, planning, development, testing, etc.)
- Experience dealing with and presenting to enterprise technical staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude and natural inclination to explore and administer software
- Highly developed organizational skills
- Good understanding of deployment processes
- Good project management skills
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Servers
- Understanding of web technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, HTML, XML
- Knowledge of Java and Groovy scripting

Compensation
We provide competitive salaries, ownership via equity, and health benefits. Compensation will be competitive based on your qualifications, expertise, and aptitude. This position will be remotely located on the East Coast of the United States and supporting Europe and the Americas. Slight preference will be given to a candidate located near either our Austin or Boston offices.
