Tasktop Technologies Launched

I am very pleased to announce that the creators of the Eclipse Mylar open source project have founded Tasktop Technologies. Our goal is to bring about the Task-Focused Desktop, and I will be updating this blog with our progress towards that goal.

    Hi Mik,

    Many congrats on starting your own company!
    Not a surprise though: Lotus Notes v8 being based on Eclipse TCP (http://www.eclipsecon.org/2006/Sub.do?id=459) combined with Mylar being a PROVEN knowledge worker productivity improver means a golden future lies ahead for you!

    Just imagine a task focused email inbox, where only mails relevant to your current week tasks show up; instant messaging only shows the persons involved in that task, intelligent agents reduce your browser favorites to only the ones relevant to your project, disable all irrelevant weblinks in your browser and google searches to stop wwilf-ing.
